Welcome to Irvington Motor Sports Park!
This is a Family Sport and all Family members and friends are important to assist, support, help and cheer on their racers to win But more importantly, HAVE FAMILY FUN TOGETHER at these events. There are no losers as IMSP! Just opportunities to come back and be better next time. At Practice Times, remember to be especially courteous and friendly to beginning or new Riders and Team Members. Everyone has to learn, Everyone's pace is different. Everyone is Welcome.
Safety
  1. ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR HELMETS! If your wheels are turning, helmets must be worn at all times. (In the pits, on the roads and on the Tracks.) This also applies to Members of your TEAM when they ride your team machines. (Quads, Bikes, Scooters and Cycles.)


  2. Safety and Good Sportsmanship are required of the Racers and their Team mates.


  3. No rude actions or crude language will be tolerated.


  4. No Alcohol or Drugs on you or in you! (Subject to Immediate suspension and/or Expulsion from premises.)


  5. Saftey Equipment on Motocross Track
    1. Racing Helmet - Full Face Type - Required
    2. Racing Boots and Gloves - Required
    3. Eye Protection - Required
    4. Other Safety Equipment Suggested
  6. Saftey Equipment on Pee Wee Track for Races:
    1. Racing Helmet - Always
    2. Lace up shoes/Boots recommended
    3. Long Pants Required
    4. Long Sleeve Shirts Required
    5. Gloves Recommended
    6. Eye Protection - Recommended
    7. Other Safety Equipment Suggested

  7. In Pit Area - Idle speed (1st gear) Only
  8. We assume no responsibility for any accidents, any harm or damage to Racers or their Support Members or Crew.
MX General Rules
  1. Race Order and Roster - It is the Racers responsibility to double check the roster and make sure you are in the proper class or classes running, if you have any questions see the tech.


  2. Classes- It is the Racers responsibility to make sure that your bike is legal for the class/classes that you have signed up for, if you are unsure what class or classes you need to run see the tech.


  3. Flags :
    Yellow= Caution- No jumps in that section, proceed with caution, no passes in caution section.
    Red = Restart. Go to the Start Gate for explanation and directions.
    Black = Leave track. An official will explain at exit.
    White = One lap to go to finish.
    Black & White Checkered = Finish line. Race is completed.


  4. Safety Equipment Required at all times while on bikes. Must have approved MX Helmet and Boots.


  5. If you leave the track you must re-enter in a close reasonable location, Do not leave the track skip obstacles and re-enter.


  6. Warm ups will be allowed on the MX track only. Do not warm up in the pits, ovals, or roads at IMSP.


  7. Idle Speed only in the pits. This is for everyone's safety and will be strictly enforced.


  8. Were all here to have a good time, Good Sportsmanship is always required. Any fighting or rude language towards another Racer or Track Official will result in immediate expulsion. If anyone has a question about what went on during the race, see the track official.


  9. D-class and Trail classes will have jump restrictions.
Race Procedures
  1. The management assumes the right to determine the Racing Program and the number of classes. Decisions of The Officials are final. Races may be postponed if conditions are hazardous or unsafe in their opinion.


  2. It is the Racer's responsibility to be lined up on the Grid before the Racer's class is moved to the Starting Gate. Be sure you are in the proper class. Ask Tech Officials if you have any questions about which class you should compete in.


  3. It is the Racer's responsibility to be in the Proper class. A Line Up Sheet should be posted at Registration. Also ask the Tech if you are not sure.


  4. If you leave the track groove, you must re-enter in close proximity to the same area. Do not skip pattern unless avoiding collision or for safety. There is an "opt out" at each jump.


  5. "Warm Ups" are available on Track prior to Race time. Race Days have limited times to "Warm Up" per class before Racing begins. No Warm Up or speeding in Parking areas or Pits at anytime. Practice times are available on Tracks other than on Race Day. (See practice schedules posted on the Web Site.)


  6. Trail classes and Special classes will have Jump Restrictions.


  7. Note: These Rules and Regulations are intended as a guide for the conduct of the racing sport and are in no way a guarantee, or an expressed or implied warranty against injury or death to the participant/driver, spectator or official. They are the minimum acceptable requirements for the orderly conduct of our racing events.
Registration
    You may print a copy of the "Registration Form" from the website. Please fill in all information before coming to Race Track to save yourself time at Registration before Each Race Day. The details may be copied, but the New Guest Bookatures must be original ink and dated on the Race date. All minors (under age 19) must have parents or guardians signatures also on their Registration Form prior to Race time. Please carefully read the disclaimer and release of liability before you sign.
    We assume NO RESPONSIBILITY for any accidents, any harm or damage to the Racers or their support crew members. Once you enter the front admission gates, you are part of a Racer's Team. You are in a restricted Racing Pit area. Please be Alert. Follow instructions and New Guest Books.
